Welcoming keto again
Hi,
This is the third time I am following keto since 2017. Every time I lose track after I attain my target goal weight. Now, I am back again to my original weight and thoroughly disappointed with myself for all the reasons. But past is past, I have to learn from my mistakes.
Mistakes:
1. Eating leftover food
2. Cooking high carb food at home (millet substitution does not work)
3. Irregular exercises (did yoga not regularly)
4. Family stress
5. No control during unplanned events at home
6. Procrastination
7. Punishing by eating during stressful times
Finally, I braced myself again to plan properly loose again and maintain. Crossing my fingers!! that this should be longlasting. Some commitment needs to be here!
1. Plan each day with a focus
2. Always have a backup plan (meal, snacks should be handy during emergency times)
3. Keep motivating by watching videos and recipes online. Tons of them are available now.
4. Yoga and stretches are the way to go. Self-discipline is important
5. Set expectations for the family members.
6. Don't discuss the diet with anyone which opens for discouragement.
Well, today I have completed 48 hours of fasting just with bullet coffee and buttermilk made with yogurt cream.
Ingredients:
1 tsp Pero Coffee powder (We don't take original coffee)
1 tbsp Erythritol (Sweetener from amazon.in)
some ice cubes
Milk cream (Which forms after boiling milk for some time and let it cool). I usually don't get whipping cream because its taste is not so good.
1 tbsp of MCT oil to provide energy.
Blend for 20 seconds and pour it in a cup and drink it.
3 cups of water
few coriander leaves
few curry leaves
small piece of ginger
1 tbsp cumin seeds
salt required
Blend it smoothly till the butter forms. Pour it in a vessel and store it. When you feel out of energy you can take it.
To avoid constipation drink a cup of water with 1 or 2 tbsp of psyllium husk.
Morning drink salt water to have a good sodium level in the body. Otherwise, add more salt to the buttermilk

Good news after 48 hours fasting: My nagging varicose throbbing pain is reduced. My husband joined to fast with me today. My kids are very understanding and managing with the simple food I cook.
